Last Card before Vacation!

Hi Everyone,

I decided to make a few more Halloween cards and this is one of my favorites.  I used scraps from some of last years selections and stamps from an Archiver's card kit.

 

 

I will be leaving tomorrow with my husband and one of my best friends and her husband for Dublin, Ireland.  My youngest son lives there and we will be staying with him.  I hope to take lots of pictures and will post when I get back.  Expect a new post on September 11, 2013.  I hope everyone has a great holiday weekend.  Have fun and be safe.

Halloween Cards

Hi everyone,

I decided I would make some Halloween cards instead of skipping right to Christmas.  Here are a few of the cards I made.

Quick and easy card!!!

Hi everyone,
The week just flew by!  One more week and I leave for Ireland.  Looking forward to it.  For today's card, I tried to get into the Christmas spirit, but I decided it was just a bit early.  The card I made today is from the Studio Calico monthly scrapbook and card kits.  Quick and easy and would be great to reproduce for sets.  I hope you like it!

Business Size Card and Envelope

Hi everyone,
Sorry I did not post on Friday but we put our 14 1/2 year old lab to sleep and it was a very sad day.  I do have a new post though.  I stepped out of  the box  and made a business size care with a business envelope.  The envelope was a size 10 on the Martha Stewart scoring board.  Here is the card:

Hope everyone hqas a great week and I will try to get a Christmas card or two done.  I will be leaving for Ireland on the 31st so I will have lots of great pictures then. 

New Stamp

I just received a great stamp from Gina K Designs called Inspiration Mosaic and I love it.  I have already done several cards using my papers from Studio Calico's Marks & Co kits,  I love the way it turned out and have some great ideas to make Christmas cards with the stamp.

 



Hopefully by Friday I will have had some time to try my Christmas card ideas and I will post those then.   Have a great day!

Napkin Fold Cards

I was looking on YouTube for some new card folding techniques and found several videos on napkin fold cards from several years ago. I guess it is an old technique but it is new to me. Everyone I have shown them to really like them. So here are a few I cards made using the napkin fold.

I make the envelopes to match and found that the Martha Stewart Scoring Board for the 6 inch card makes the perfect envelope.  A gift card works perfectly tucked right inside!

New Beginnings/New Cards

I finally have found the time to start working on my blog.  I will be posting at least 2 times per week (Mondays and Fridays) but hopefully more.  I have been making lots of new cards and will be posting some of the cards tomorrow.
