Fun with the New Spring Floral Basket Digital Stamp Set

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all well and staying safe.  Today I am showcasing the New Spring Floral Basket Digital Stamp Set from the New Release.

To make today's card, I stenciled a sunburst patterned stencil with yellow ink onto a piece of white card stock.  I die cut that piece with a die making it into a 4" x 5 1/4" piece.  I cut the background piece with a die one size larger onto a green piece of card stock.  I glued both of these to a white A2 card base.  I colored and fussy cut the flowers and adhered them to the card with foam tape.  I framed the sentiment with the same green card stock and popped it up with foam tape.  I added green Nuvo drops to accent the card.  This digital stamp set is so fun and versatile.  I love all the spring and summer flowers.  I am ready for some great spring weather!!!

***For all my digital downloads I use an 80lb white card stock and print them on a laser printer.  If you don't have a laser printer you can take them to an office store to be printed.  Make sure you bring your own paper.  An ink jet printer is fine, but the laser makes it so much easier to use your alcohol markers with.

Joy Clair New Release Day 2

Hello everyone and welcome to Day 2 of the Joy Clair New Release.  Today I am showcasing cards made with the Spring Floral Basket Digital Stamp Set and the Bumble Bear Digital Stamp Set.

My first cards are from the Spring Floral Basket Digital Stamp Set.

For the first card, I colored the flowers with Copic markers and fussy cut them. I die cut a piece of white card stock with a background cover plate die and glued it to a blue A2 card base.  I then die cut an oval out of white card stock, ink blended it with blue ink and glued it to the center of the card.  I die cut an oval frame out of the same blue card stock I used for the card base and placed it around the ink blended oval. I glued the flowers around the oval and the sentiment in the middle after framing it in blue card stock.  I added Nuvo drops for detail.

This second card I colored the basket and flowers and fussy cut them.  I die cut a piece  of white card stock and water colored a blue rectangle inside and splattered it with water.  I popped up the basket with foam tape and glued the sentiment above it.  I adhered the die cut piece to a blue A2 card base.

My next two cards showcase the Bumble Bear Digital Stamp Set.

For this card I stenciled a honeycomb background to a white piece of card stock with yellow ink.  I colored and fussy cut the images from the digital stamp set.  I used an oval die and cut the stenciled background. I glued the floral image to a white A2 card base and lined around it with foam tape to make a shaker card.  I added a piece of acetate to the stenciled background.  I placed some seed beads and metal bumble bees inside the shaker area and adhered the stenciled background onto the card base.  I glued the flowers around the oval area and added the bumble bees and sentiment.  I used some sequins for sparkle. A fun shaker card.

For the second Bumble Bear card, I ink blended a white piece of card stock and die cut it with a cover plate die.  I colored and cut out the images.  I used the left over oval from the first card and popped it up with foam tape.  I glued the bear image to the card.  I added a black sticker strip under the feet to ground the bear.  Sequins were added for sparkle.

Hello everyone and welcome to Day 1 of the New Joy Clair Release.  Today I am showcasing cards from the Cup of Joy Digital Stamp Set and the Floral Joy Digital Stamp Set.  I also have a bonus card featuring the Spicy Like That Digital Stamp Set, where 50% of the proceeds will go to Feeding America to help food banks during these most difficult times.

My first card features the Cup of Joy Digital Stamp.

To make this card I colored the images with Copic markers and fussy cut them out.  I stenciled a white piece of card stock with a rose stencil using pink ink.  I tied a bow and placed it on the stenciled layer, popped up the cup of flowers with foam tape and placed it partially over the bow.  I also popped up the sentiment.  I placed the stenciled piece onto a black piece of card stock and adhered this to an A2 white card base.

My second card features the Floral Joy Digital Stamp Set .

To make this card I colored and fussy cut the images from the digital stamp set.  I used a cover plate die with hearts to cut out a violet piece of card stock.  I left some of the cut pieces in the die to add a little detail.  I adhered the die cut to my A2 white card base.  I used foam tape and popped the flowers up in the center of the card.  I framed the sentiment with a piece of black card stock and used foam tape to pop it up.

My bonus card features the Spicy Like That Digital Stamp Set.

.

To make this card I used a stenciled background that I made with silver glitter glaze.  I colored the images with Copic markers and fussy cut them.  I used foam tape to popped them up on the stenciled background.  I used foam tape on the sentiment too.  I framed the stenciled piece with green card stock and red card stock.  This was all placed on a white A2 card base.

New Joy Clair Challenge-Mothers Day

Hello everyone!

It's time for another Joy Clair Challenge on the Joy Clair Stamp Projects Facebook Page. An album for each challenge will be posted on the Joy Clair Clear Stamp Projects Facebook Page. Please upload your entries to this album.

The CHALLENGE today is MOTHERS DAY.   Create a card or project using a Joy Clair stamp or digital download showcasing anything celebrating Mothers. A winner will be randomly picked on May 6, 2020. The winner will be able to pick a free digital download of their choice. All entries must be uploaded to the Challenge Album by midnight EDT on May 6, 2020.

Here is an example of one of the cards I made.

To make this card I used the Digital Download My Heart.  I ink blended the background with several pink inks on a piece of white card stock, 4" x 51/4",  and  embossed it with a heart die.  It's hard to see the hearts in the picture but they are there I tied.  I colored and fussy cut the heart image with the same inks.  I popped it up on the background with foam tape. I used a piece of ribbon from my stash and glued it on the card.  I popped up the sentiment from the Mother's Day Love Stamp and put it over the bow.  I glued some small hearts on the card as an embellishment. I adhered this to an A2 size white card base.

My second example is another card.

To make this card, I started with a white piece of card stock and die cut it with a die from my stash.  I also die cut a scrap of green card stock and pink card stock to add to the white card stock.  I colored and fussy cut the pigs hugging from the Mother's Day Love Stamp Set.  I cut the piece of green card stock to look like a grassy background and matched it to the white die cut piece.  I cut a strip from the piece of pink card stock and matched it to the top of the white piece.  I popped up the image with foam tape and placed it on the grassy area.  I used an oval die cut and centered it around the image.  I glued small hearts inside the oval.  I fussy cut the sentiment, shadowed it with a piece of black card stock, and popped it up on the center top of the card.  I glued the entire piece to a black piece of card stock measuring 41/4" x 51/2".  This was then placed on a white A2 card base.

***The card stock I use to print my downloads on is 80lb Neenah Solar White.  Any layering weight card stock would work.***

Fun with Joy Clair Designs NEW "Succulent Frame" Digital Download/Stamp Set

    Hello Everyone,

Today I am featuring Joy Clair Designs NEW "Succulent Frame" Digital Download/Stamp Set.  I decided to make a long card which will fit into a business size envelope.

For today's card, I started with a piece of blue card stock cut to 3 1/4" x 8 1/4".  I printed the digital download image out three times and fussy cut each frame image along with all three sentiments and some leaf sprays.   I colored the images with COPIC markers and adhered them to the blue card stock cascading down the card.  The middle image was popped up with foam squares.  I placed the leaf sprays cascading down the card too.  I used black NUVO Drops for an accent.,  After the drops dried, I adhered the blue card stock to a white card base.  The card base was made from a piece of white card stock cut to 7" x 8 1/2" , folded in half at 3 1/2".

It's so much fun to experiment with new card sizes!  If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments or email me at lindahpd@aol.com.  Please take a minute and check out all the great new products at www.joyclair.com.

Joy Clair Stamps Think Spring Challenge

    New Joy Clair Challenges

    Hello everyone!

Starting today and continuing on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays every month is the New Joy Clair Challenge on the Joy Clair Clear Stamp Projects Facebook Page. An album for each challenge will be posted on the Joy Clair Clear Stamp Projects Facebook Page.

The CHALLENGE today is THINK SPRING.   Create a card or project using a Joy Clair stamp or digital download showcasing anything that reminds you of spring. A winner will be randomly picked on April 23rd. The winner will be able to pick a free digital download of their choice. All entries must be uploaded to the Challenge Album by 8AM EDT on April 23rd.

Here is an example of a card I made.

To make this card, I ink blended the background, cut a pink oval with an oval die set, and colored the image from the Bunny Greetings Digital Download.  I fussy cut the flower pot and sentiment and glued them to the oval.  I then glued the oval to the ink blended background and placed that on the white A2 card base.

To make this project I colored and fussy cut the images from the Bonnie Bunny Digital Download. I glued the images to a purple piece of card stock 1" wide and 12" long.  I wrapped it around each candle, glued the ends together and cut off the excess.

Both of these projects were made using the digital downloads by CraftyMelinda.com

Have fun creating. I am looking forward to seeing everyone’s creations. Have fun and Think Spring!
