New Joy Clair MASCULINE Challenge

Hello Everyone,

It's time for another Joy Clair Challenge on the Joy Clair Stamp Projects Facebook Page. An album for each challenge will be posted on the Joy Clair Clear Stamp Projects Facebook Page. Please upload your entries to this album.

The CHALLENGE today is MASCULINE CARDS/PROJECTS.   Create a card or project using a Joy Clair stamp or digital download with a masculine touch. This is a perfect opportunity to get Fathers' Day card/projects done.  A winner will be randomly picked on June 4, 2020. The winner will be able to pick a free digital download of their choice. All entries must be uploaded to the Challenge Album by 11:59 EDT on June 3, 2020.

Here is an example of the card I made using the Classic Father's Day Clear Stamp Set.

To make this card I die cut a piece of white card stock measuring 4 inches x 5 1/4 inches with a stitched die.  I used  a geometric stencil and lightly stenciled the background, gradually fading out toward the edges of the card using a blue ink and a blending brush.  I inked the edges of  the card stock with a darker blue ink.  I stamped the vehicle on a white piece of card stock, colored it with blue, black, and grey Copic Markers.  I used a silver pen to add details to the wheels, lights, and flashes on the side of the car.  I placed a back sticker line on the card, the car was placed on that to ground it.  I stamped the black flames onto the card stock and used Glossy Accents on the flames to give them shiny dimension.  I stamped the sentiment onto white card stock, embossed it with clear embossing powder, cut a tail on it and adhered it with foam tape to the top of the card.  I mounted this to a black piece of card stock cut to 1/8 inch larger than the white piece.  I glued this to an A2 ( 4 1/4 inches by 5 1/2 inches) blue card base.  I added blue Nuvo drops for a little detail.

**Helpful Tip:  If you are going to add drops to your card for a finishing detail, wait until the card is completed and then add them.  This way you don't smear them when you are putting your card together.
